Spring Clean at Oban Sailing Club Lend a Hand!

As we head into a new sailing season, its time to get Oban Sailing Club looking its best—and we'd love your help.
Were organising a Spring Clean Weekend to tidy up the clubhouse, dinghy park, and surrounding areas, and all members (and friends of the club) are warmly invited to get involved.
Dates
- Saturday 4th April
- Sunday 12th April
Come along on either day (or both!) for as long as you can spare—every bit of help makes a difference.
What's involved?
There's plenty to do, including:
- General tidy-up around the clubhouse
- Tidying and organising the dinghy park
- Basic maintenance and small repair jobs
- Clearing outdoor areas and improving our surroundings
No special skills are needed—just a willingness to pitch in.
Why it matters
Our club has been part of the Oban community since 1935, and keeping it in great shape is something we all share. These sessions are a great way to:
- Get the club ready for the busy season ahead
- Meet other members and enjoy some time together
- Take pride in maintaining our fantastic facilities
What to bring
- Old clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Gloves (if you have them)
- Any useful tools (optional)
- Plenty of enthusiasm!

Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, your help will be hugely appreciated. Its always a good laugh, and many hands really do make light work.
