Keelboat Racing Series Returns to Oban Sailing Club Starting 18th April!

Oban Sailing Club is excited to announce the return of our Keelboat Racing Series, kicking off on Saturday 18th April. With longer days and improving conditions, its the perfect time to get back out on the water and into some competitive, yet friendly, racing.
The keelboat series is a highlight of the club calendar, bringing together a great mix of experienced racers and those looking to step into keelboat sailing for the first time. Whether youre a regular on the race circuit or simply keen to get involved and learn, theres a place for you on the start line.
Racing offers a fantastic way to develop your sailing skills, build confidence, and enjoy time on the water as part of a team. With a strong focus on participation and enjoyment, the series promises great racing and a welcoming atmosphere both on and off the water.
Get Involved Crew Opportunities Available
If you dont have your own boat but are keen to take part, we encourage all members to make use of the clubs Crewfinder application. This is a great way to connect skippers and crew, helping more people get out sailing and ensuring boats are fully crewed for race days. Whether youre experienced or completely new to keelboat racing, registering your interest on Crewfinder is the best way to secure a spot.
