After School Summer Course

Join us this summer at Oban Sailing Club for our popular eightweek Wednesday evening sailing course, designed for high school students for S1 up with no previous sailing experience required.

The course runs over eight consecutive Wednesday evenings from 17:30 to 20:45, providing a relaxed and supportive introduction to sailing. All equipment and safety kit can be provided, so you can simply turn up and get on the water.

Throughout the course, participants will learn the fundamentals of sailing, build confidence afloat, and develop practical skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. The programme also includes an introduction to powerboat handling, offering handson experience driving safety boats.

On completion of the course, participants are encouraged to take advantage of sailing throughout the summer, providing the opportunity to practise newly acquired skills, gain further experience, and become part of the Oban Sailing Club community.

Whether you are looking to try something new, get active on the water, or progress into regular sailing, this course is an ideal starting point.
